The bear was first seen in the parking lot of the Plymouth Meeting Mall around 4 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, according to police. He evaded capture by running southeast toward the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
Then, by Thursday afternoon, police said the bear had been spotted northeast of the mall in an area bound by Hickory, Walton, Township Line, and Narcissa roads.
Finally, by Friday morning, Oct. 27, police said the Pennsylvania Game Commission officials had the bear in custody.
Daily Voice has reached out to PGC for more about the bear's relocation.
